One of the most glorious sandy beaches in Scotland is just a 5 minute walk from “the terrace”. Walk to the top of Gullane Hill and enjoy the magnificent views to Aberlady Bay and beyond to the Forth Rail Bridge. Simply breathtaking!
A visit to North Berwick beach and Yellowcraigs (Dirleton) is also worthwhile.

Surrounded by the world famous Open championship golf course, Muirfield and Open qualifying courses of Gullane, North Berwick, Dunbar & Longniddry amongst a host of others. Golfers are truly spoilt for choice!

Ideally located just 15 miles from Edinburgh or 20 minutes by train from Longniddry a day trip to Edinburgh is certainly worthwhile.

How to get there……
Gullane is a 30 minute drive from Edinburgh city centre.
Head east from Edinburgh on the A1. Take the junction for the A198 at Tranent. Follow the A198 through Longniddry and Aberlady towards Gullane.
Or take a more leisurely drive from Edinburgh along the coastal trail from Musselburgh.
“The Terrace” apartment is situated at 7a Hopetoun Terrace.
Hopetoun Terrace is located opposite the village post office and Bisset’s (pub).
“The Terrace” is accessed from the rear.
